Orianna, Messenger of the Gods

Orianna is the only God to have never been mortal. Once Jarvan had been assigned to the Underworld in the year 43, he and Kallista needed a means of contacting each other. They used their divine magic to create the first Angel, Orianna. She served the gods for 500 years before her first children came to heaven from their mortal lives, and Orianna retired. She occasionally returns to deliver the most important of messages, but otherwise she remains in the City of the Gods. She ascended on retirement.
