Grimsburg
Grimsburg is Frostfell's capital city. It stands solitary and strong at the northernmost point of the freezing island, the only sign of life anywhere in the Purgatory Desert. Grimsburg is a coastal city and receives Frostfell's trade, primarily food, as very little can be grown in the harsh conditions of the island, and often, non humans, who are shipped to the Human-only isle by slavers, to be sold to Grimsburg Arena.
Grimsburg is also home to The Hart Family, Frostfell's reigning monarchs. The Harts have been ruling the nation for millennia, after beginning civilisation there, once the old clans of Frostfell had either bent the knee, or been killed. The Harts reside in The Exalted Palace, a towering white structure, isolated on an island in the centre of Grimsburg, with a single bridge allowing only those with extreme power and influence to cross.
Grimsburg is a dark, miserable place, where the iron rule of the Harts is felt at its worst by Frostfell's populace. Although the island itself is no friend of non humans, Grimsburg is by far the worst place someone with pointy ears could find themselves.
Demographics
Grimsburg's population is in accordance with Frostfell's laws, and houses humans, around 2,000,000 of them. Other races, while present in negligible amounts, are there to be killed.
Government
The Hart Family rule has remained in Frostfell for over 2000 years, and shows no sign of faltering.
Defences
The docks at Grimsburg have several navy ships garrisoned there, however due to Frostfell's isolationist policies, they have never been rallied in the history of the country's existence. As a result, not much is spent on defences is Grimsburg. Grimsburg does, however, have a large and prominent police force, who have a reputation for being incredibly tight when it comes to upholding the law.
Industry & Trade
Grimsburg's main export is coal, however the populace are not particularly wealthy. Frostfell is largely self contained, and anything manufactured in Grimsburg is distributed to other Frostfellian cities and settlements.
Infrastructure
Grimsburg's tall streets are paved with long cobbled roads that form an orderly one way system. It has a large frozen shipyard and dock where its imports arrive. There is a canal system on the ground level that has some water buses to aid transport, with several watermills dotted around.

Architecture
Grimsburg's streets are aligned perfectly, with all roads leading off from one another in right angles. The house, supplied by the Hart Family's reign, are all identical in design; tall, black stone structures with flat roofs and two windows on each floor. Each house is three floors high, with a family housed on each floor. Amongst the orderly streets of miserable rock lies Grimsburg Arena, a huge domed structure made entirely of ice, where wizards and sorcerers are employed specifically to keep the exterior cool. The straight road leading up to the arena has large ice obelisks each side, often adorned with the corpses of the arena's latest victims. The Harts' residence, The Exalted Palace, sits directly in the centre of the city, in an enormous alcove. The palace is made almost entirely of white marble, put together in a jagged, imposing fashion.
