Session 15 Recap
General Summary
After the battle against the Manticore the party cautiously returned to the Hags hut, exchanging the Manticores meat for a variety of items, and a quick meal, leaving on peaceful terms.
They headed out of The Shadowlands passing the same bog they previously passed and headed back into the fortified town of Bastion.
In Bastion they were immediately aware of increased activity at the tavern, and upon entering they found their friend Dok salting meat and cooking for a bunch of jolly guards and civilians.
The party rested for the night, got confused as to where they were or where they were even heading, but eventually decided to head to The Wallows to deliver the Manticores tail as per their quest.
On their journey they crossed over an old bridge that once provided passage over a now dried up stream.
Unfortunately the moist conditions had proven an idea nesting ground for a pair of Gibbering Mouthers.
A battle ensued complete with some uncomfortable moments for members of the party, Specifically Dok who was already regretting venturing out into the wilds once more.
Shortly after their battle they camped for the night.
It was during this time, whilst the darkness of night was thick, that the person on watch noticed the horizon to the south light up crimson, seemingly their destination had suddenly and rapidly caught ablaze.
But they decided sleep was more important.
As morning came the party enjoyed a quick breakfast, the horizon was clouded with smoke from fires that had died out over the last few hours, but they decided that The Wallows was still their destination of choice.
Closing in on the town they noticed many fo the buildings were damaged but otherwise intact, however standing at the gate, with some dead guards scattered around was a Goat legged Demon looking thing.
Upon approach, diplomacy was attempted, however the negotiations were cut shot as the creature hurled a fireball at the party.
A brief battle occurred, and the creature was felled.
Entering the town they noticed many eviscerated bodies, and the towns Tavern seemed as though it had been reinforced from within against a gathering of demons outside.
After a brief obversvation the party was able to determine a few facts about the creatures
