Savage monsters, vaguely man-like. They are capable of speech and rational thought but prefer to use grunts and violence. They are like angry dogs that can talk and use tools.
Appearance
Orcs appear as very large muscular men, about 7 or 8 feet tall weighing over 300 pounds with leathery green skin. Many of them have large teeth that jut out of their mouths on each side and their bodies are covered in a thin coat of coarse hair, much like a wild boar. They are often adorned with elaborate branding tattoos on their face and arms. It’s unclear if these are used as tribal identifiers, status, religious symbols, or for some other purpose.
Culture
Is that a joke? Their culture, or lack of one, is simple. The stronger the better. They take what they want and can have anything they can fight for and win, and they don’t stop fighting until they’re dead. They form war parties and clans when a particularly strong Orc is able to subjugate several others. An orc may challenge another for power in single-hand combat. There are never multiple fighters on one side. War parties often employ pack tactics.
Religion
It is speculated that they worship
Gruumsh, the traditional god of Orcs, war, and domination. They also celebrate rituals of
The White Hand, believing them to spread plague and disease throughout the land.
Fighting Orcs
Orcs entire being is built around combat. They are aggressive and relentless. They roam in packs, and each clan will have several packs. They attack with strategy to overwhelm their foes. They will avoid any encounters they do not think they can win. If spotted or provoked however, they will not back down, even if defeat is inevitable.
