Mirrorgates

Mirrorgates are magical portals that lead to other worlds—whether those worlds may be Lost Kingdoms, ancient forests or towering mountains…that depends on the Mirrorgate. But, more often than not, Mirrogates lead to Terras. Mirrogates come in all shapes and sizes, and may vary from small cracks in the wall to ornate and gigantic structures built for the sole purpose of hopping from one world to another. Although difficult, it is not impossible to craft a Mirrorgate.

Purpose / Function

The purpose of a Mirrorgate is to link two worlds together and provide a stable means to move between the two. For example, Earth and Terras.

Alterations

Since Mirrorgates are extremely ancient, no alterations have ever been done on one.

Architecture

A Mirrorgate can take all sorts of forms, from a simple stone arch to a complex and ornate doorway. The knowledge on how to create Mirrorgates is believed to be lost when the High Elves fell.
