The Path of Nightshade start preparations to attend the Wedding.

Gilly talks to Rosco about how he’s not the captain. He doesn’t want to give it up, so Gilly flings him overboard. He crumples in the face of such power and agrees to be a good boy from now on.   They introduce Sera to the Ship’s complement, Carmela Norman - first mate, Doctor Tick - ship’s doctor, Svemore Desh - ship’s cook, Rosco - ship’s boy, Sky Full of Stars - alchemist, Luna (Warforged) - healer, Bowen - Herbalist, Gerrig - ship guard, Sandon Branderson - archivist, Ashi - daughter of Aku/ship guard   The party decides to fly to Rockshire to see if Zips is available to come on a date. Thuniel informs everyone how the wedding will go. There is an initial gathering to meet everyone, followed by a picnic, hunt or other activity. Then there’s another gathering with dancing and feasting, and the wedding is at the end of the second day. There will be a lot of influential families there, including major political leaders. House Lialee, (mother of the bride’s family) shipping moguls, we met a Lialee in a tavern outside The Dueling Knight, their house colors are Blue and Yellow with cockatrice on there family crest. The D’arlington family (groom’s family), house colors lemon yellow and black, with a Moon with three stars on there crest, are candlemakers and land moguls, very rich, but the patriarch died in a tragic accident and Maximillian D'arlington took over the estate as a young man. Miana The leader of the Mercantile Guild of Brightcloaks always shows up to these events despite being unfriendly with the ruling class. House Agaraen (Purple and White), Lord Hyme Agaraen is the ruler of the Elven houses and is the representative on the Albion Council. House Sarvaris (red and black), whorehouse moguls, and trade in secrets.   The Silver Lodge is owned by House Simbelmyne.   On the ride, Bobushio starts crafting a wagon with hidden compartments and potentially anti-gravity magic for the journey to The Silver Lodge.   Sera is familiar with the ocean, but then the land comes into view and it’s her first view of a city. Bobushio and Gilly opt to fly over the city to air dock near Ivy Hill. The city is still healing after the Demogorgon attack. Zips and Trigger are there to meet us. Big Tuna comes trundling out to meet us. Zips brings Lil’ Sebastian for Gilly and a pony for her.   Bobushio talks with Big Tuna about educating the Tieflings that are living in Rockshire, specifically a school in Ivy Hill. Bobushio gives Big Tuna twenty platinum to set up the school.   Gilly also chats with Big Tuna about what she can do to help the town. Big Tuna says they need better relationships with the other families. Skordan Grimhelm hasn’t been seen.   Moz tree strides the party right into Blightfen. Zips immediately fawns over the horses, and a house servant named Freddy runs up to stop her. Thuniel tells him off and makes him go prep some stables for the ponies. Thuniel says she is there to prepare for the wedding and Freddy gasps and says Dlanweth was not invited to the wedding, and he’ll be furious that Thuniel was.   Thuniel marches into the house and demands to see Dlanweth Simbelmyne . The servant doesn’t want to let Thuniel in, then she says that the servant will be responsible if Thuniel doesn’t see him.   Dlanweth Simbelmyne will see her alone, but Thuniel props the door open. Dlanweth doesn’t speak, until Thuniel says she is going to the wedding. Then he insults Thuniel that she has never helped the family. She tells him that he only knows when she helped the family if she has done her job wrong. Then she gives him an ancient elven artifact from Ursula’s lair, and goes to look for her mother Maellewyn Simbelmyne who has already left for the wedding. Thuniel tells the servants they’ll occupy the suite tonight and set sail tomorrow.   Bobushio meanwhile is in the city trying to talk to shopkeeps about why Dlanweth wasn’t invited to the wedding, but everyone says it is elven business. Bobushio goes into The Commoners Fortune to ask around some more. Neville Sinclair immediately lays on the charms. Bobushio asks for something to help him blend in with the waitstaff at a fancy party. He offers a Hat of Disguise. He offers to let Bobushio hang out and attune to try it out. Neville plays games to pass the time, then his partner comes to join and Bobushio realizes Val is a changeling. Bobushio starts dropping mirror-based phrasing, and Neville reacts, but Val doesn’t.   Bobushio mentions that he wants to blend in at the Simbelmyne, D’arlington wedding. Neville is jealous that Bobushio gets to go. Neville is very happy when Bobushio reveals himself. Neville asks what happened to the Pirate Nation. Then he tries out the hat after an hour and turns into Gilly. Neville reacts and asks if he knows The Circle of Six. Bobushio corrects him. Then Neville says that Brerenax is still questing with The Circle of Six across the seas he just talked to him last week. Neville wants to know if Bobushio kidnapped Gilly.     Then the group shows up. Bobushio turns into Gilly again, so Gilly stares down herself and reaches for Curvy, then she sees “Gilly” mirror her. Thuniel sees through the disguise and curses him out. Neville is happy to see Gilly, Moz and Thuniel. Neville says that Brerenax has been leading the Circle. Gilly sets him straight, and Bobushio buys two hats of disguise and gives one to Gilly.   Neville takes an interest in Sera. Sera abruptly and nervously tells Neville the group killed her mother and that she likes to swim and sing and throw around a trident.   Bobushio asks if we’re going to talk about the changeling in the room, then he hears in his head, “Back off.” from Neville.   They catch up about Estra and Alcath, then get recommendations about where to shop.   Thuniel asks Val for a special gift for Zips, and they say it’ll take a couple of days.   At The Plush Hem, Thuniel gets everyone a full ensemble in preparation for the Wedding.
