Silma Atoll

The islands that form a circle in between the other islands are generally referred to as Silma Atoll. It is debatable whether this formation is the result of an ancient collapsed volcano or a former giant coral reef, of which there is little or nothing left today. The surrounding decay makes it the most dangerous place in all of Alkumeri, and yet people have settled there to study the spore forests more closely. Many think that this place harbors the answer to fighting the decay, as here, unlike all other places, the decay seems to shrinks despite the huge accumulation of spores. To study this, a research group has settled there and constructed two cities. This now somewhat larger research group is known as Kirkas and they own the entire atoll, not that any other would willingly claim it anyway.
