Relka
A modest town to the North of the southern portion of Jorvingr. The whole area "Relka" is commonly referred to is actually two separate settlements: Relka, and it's neighbour Witch's Rest. While to a lot of people, Relka and Witch's rest seem like the same settlement, they're actually two very distinct ones.
Only a decade ago it was a thriving town for trade, having a strong link to the Audian vigil. Now, the population has significant portion of vuleaun refugees from The Fires, who bringing their music and festivities, have made Relka a hub of cultural exchange. Most merchants tend to now travel to Relka with the intention of trading their wood, instead of coming to Relka for it's resources.
Subregions
Red Corner
Named after the buildings made of red clay, the Red Corner is largely residential. It used to be a deal smaller, but the Red Corner has steadily grown outwards over Relka's expansion, with most valian refugees choosing to live there. It's also where Matija's tower is located.Tumear Streets
Named after a herb that's frequently found in the area, Tumear Streets features some of the bigger houses in Relka. It's known for "collective houses", where groups of crafters live. Lace-makers, whittlers, carpenters, candle-makers, insect farmers, tanners, salt preservers, apothecaries, and other artisan workers live. Most communal rooms are in Tumear, smokehouses, wood stores, bathhouses, and wells are present.Woolside
Woolside is often not as populated as the rest of Relka. It's mainly populated by shepherds and other livestock herders, who will be largely out of town for weeks at a time. When they return, they'll remain for a few weeks, before heading back out. Artisan workers will to go Woolside in search of raw materials, and more often than not return with something to work with.Witch's Pass
A farming based area of the city. The road from Witch's Pass leads direct to the Kingfisher bridge that connects Relka and Witch's Rest, and so happens to connect Relka to a lot of farming fields. Most people in Witch's Pass either work on the fields of the Witch's rest, or the ones to the east of Relka.Rekfar Wall
Rekfar Wall, named after a local myth of Rekfar and the Giant Axolotl, where it was said a local boy defeated a house-sized axolotl that emerged from the Rekfar river. It's a smaller part of the village to the north, predominantly comprised of fishers.Surrounding Area
