Session 7: The Mine part 4
General Summary
Our heroes started in the main chamber, they came across some drow miners hanging out in personal quarters. When the first drow noticed our heroes he called to his friends for assistance. Our heroes thought this would be an easy battle after murdering the drow, suddenly Zanril noticed a beholder zombie sneaking up from around a corner. Solto nearly died and Rorick was paralyzed. Everyone fought admirably but Daeran managed to get the final shot that killed it.
Our heroes camped for the night outside the mine-cave. In the morning Zanril gives everyone a pep-speech. They had to go to Jimmy's farm to collect their horses, Kaylin remembered that Jimmy asked for a magic item from the party in exchange for permission to explore the mine. They decided to leave a random spell scroll with a nice note on his front door. Our heroes then made their way back to the The Dancing Pirate in Black Crystal. Zanril asked the tavern owner, George, about the herb quest on the job board, George informed them that the job had been taken down because someone else completed it.
Down Time
Our heroes had two days downtime in Black Crystal. They mostly took care of some shopping/ restocking needs to collect potions and upgrade weapons/spells.
