Onira Botanical Garden
The Onira Botanical Garden is located in the Lower Gardens and is housed in a large glass building. It is divided into four sections, desert, swamp, forest, and mountain. Each section boasts a large variety of native plants, including many that are rare or difficult to find.
As a visitor, you walk through the grand entrance and into a long rectangular room. There are two arches on your left and two on your right, each leads to a different environment. When you walk through an arch you come into a very large room with glass ceilings and glass walls, the temperature changes to what naturally occurs in that environment. A winding dirt or sand path will take you on a tour through the gardens.
