Kingdom of Boskor
The Kingdom of Boskor is a kingdom of giants in Eastern Dreonica.
History
3780 BYD: The cloud giant Woxsar leads a clan of cloud giants to the top of Arrow's Peak, the highest mountain in the region that would come to be known as Boskor. Driving off or enslaving the lesser giants at the top of the mountain, they build a great castle and declare themselves rulers of the land. Woxsar is named the first King of Boskor.
3775 BYD: After observing the ongoing battles between the elves of Samblar and the giants, Woxsar decides to try and negotiate peace with the elves. Traveling into their forest alone and unarmed, he eventually is granted council with the King of the elves. Woxsar promises peace in twenty years if the elves stop their raiding, and details his plan to the elvish king. The elvish king accepts, and they draw up formal borders. Upon his return, he begins to organize the other giants on the mountain, and enslave those who will not bend to his will. He also begins enslaving the local goblin and orc populations.
3774 BYD: Construction of a massive canal begins on the border between Boskor and Samblar. The elves keep a wary eye on the laborers.
3760 BYD: The canal is completed, allowing for ships to make their way from the south to the north without having to go around the human lands (present day Harnell and Jodan). Woxsar names the canal after himself, calling it the "Woxsar River". Turning his attentions south, the giants begin construction on the city of Metehar.
1802 BYD: The giants of "The Wall" in eastern Dreonica are forced out of their homeland by The Dragon Queen. Making their way east, many settle in Boskor.
1800 BYD: Warring between different tribes of giants reaches an all time high, due to a shortage of food. After a dozen river giants cross the Woxsar river and destroy an elven fishing village known as Rae'sholl, Samblar renounces their peace treaty from two thousand years before, and orders any giants seen crossing the river to be shot or otherwise dealt with.
436 BYD: Amaya Stonetree, known then as the Sage of Wisdom creates a mountain range stretching across the border Boskor shares with the Kingdom of Dhalmass. Upon these mountains she puts a great enchantment, that prevents the wicked from passing through them. After the other sages raise concerns, she constructs a great tunnel through the mountains, to allow trade through.
The Year of Darkness: All out warfare starts between the remaining giants. There are massive fights for the remaining stores of food, slave revolts, skirmishes with the orcs to the north, skirmishes with the elves to the west, and an almost impassable mountain to the east. The remaining cloud giants in the region are wiped out as they attempt to flee the country and pierce the darkness. The remaining goodly and indifferent giants cross over the mountains, seeking shelter in Dhalmass.
