Girty and Hinman Islands
Originally a contested island between Theo Hinman, a revolutionary from New Polina who desired the island to be free of the rule of kings, and Oliver Girty, who was loyal to Kingdom of Dhalmass, this island was split into two and much of it's land was destroyed by dragons during the War of Three Kingdoms. After the war, the sage of wisdom helped the two sides to resolve their differences, declaring one island to be Girty Island and to be ruled by the Kingdom, and the other to be Hinman island, and for that to be ruled independently. To celebrate the peace between the two islands, the ancient sage constructed a great bridge to connect the two islands, made of pure light, which still stands to this day.
