Nexus of the Seal's

Description:

Though most commonly known as eight different objects, all of the NEXUS SEALS are the eight objects, the Seven Deadly Sins, Seven Heavenly Virtues, and the Titan Council of Twelve. They each have their own power and such, making them unique challenges to overcome, this means that demons or heroes alone cannot destroy them, and essentially must work together. William Anderson made it this way in hopes that should Apocrylis Sintalus be freed, the demons themselves would've allied with the humans and gone against the Dark God. Though this doesn't always happen, and most times it only results in the two fighting in a way that happens to result in the destruction of the Nexus Seals.

Nexus of the Seal's:

When someone says 'Nexus of the Seal's', they almost always are improperly referring to the eight objects of power, that are listed below.   Blood Eye:
A crimson object, made of infectious disgusting fleshy material, in the shape of a dragons eye. It's glow beats like a heart, with it being a deep red. Touching it causes intense feelings of pain. It's abilities allow one to regenerate extremely fast while holding it, making them near invisible while in contact with it. However should they lose contact with it for even a few seconds while still healing previous injuries, if they are not fully healed, the injuries will return two-fold, almost guaranteeing their death. Smashing it requires a heavy amount of blood. Doing so releases screams that echo off ominously.   Lantern of the Soul:
Black metal and glass form an 1800s oil lantern. The inside glows a bright blue, with it radiating coldness. It's glow is constant, and touching it causes a deep numbing cold that prevents any emotions or care. Its ability allows it to suck in an individual's soul into the lantern by killing an individual and holding the lantern open towards them, storing their soul for an indefinite amount of time (this causes the description of the lantern weighing a thousand souls). Once the lantern has enough souls, it can be bound to a user so that should the user suffer mortal wounds and would normally perish, a soul inside the lantern takes their place and the user continues living. However, once the user loses their first soul, they can no longer gain anymore, and they will live until the souls run out, then they themselves will die. A new user will be able to trap new souls and repeat this process. This means a user could potentially trap hundreds of thousands of souls and become practically immortal. Smashing it requires the giving of a soul, and upon destruction, it lets out a sigh of relief at freedom from the souls and blue flames erupting everywhere that must burn themselves out.   Lucre of Desire:
Shaped like a gold coin, but with crystalline material and a fox imprinted on one side, and a snake on the other. It's mesmerizing and can hold anyone in a trance forever, especially if they're touching it. This requires a person to have a friend who will snap them out of the trance, lest their attention be held to they perish of dehydration or starvation. If they are an exceptionally greedy person, they might be forever trapped in this trance. It can also take the shape of a bright orange crystal if given the right situation. It's ability allows one (should they be able to withstand the mesmerization) to somehow (no matter how impossible) obtain one thing that the user desires. Afterwards the Lucre must be lost from them or else drive the user mad. The only way to destroy the Lucre, is for an individual to have their desire be that the Lucre is destroyed and make contact with it till destruction (whether it be a few seconds or till the day they die). Upon destruction, the Lucre shatters into a million pieces of shrapnel, hurting surrounding individuals while also letting out loud hisses and fox shrieks.   Damned's Blade:
A sword with exceptional corrupting power. It's crooked jagged blade extends from a handle and guard made of twisted black steel. Only the darkest creatures can wield it, and should any light creature grab hold of it, they're mind will instantly be wiped to the point they are still living but cannot talk, walk, or even stand on their own. Should it be stabbed into a creature, it will either instantly kill it, or leave an ever stinging wound. Should the blade be left in a strong enough creature, it will corrupt it, turning evil, no matter how righteous or strong-willed they were before. It can only be destroyed with a weapon of light, and upon smashing, it lets out whispering cursing voices as the blade dissipates into clouds of shadow.   Core of the Exalted:
An extra smooth, extra white, extra glowy orb. It carries an aura of peace and comfort, intensifying on touch. Dark creatures are repulsed by it and will instantly die should they willfully touch it (even if they don't know what it is or didn't know that they were grabbing at it. This means every part of their mind must object to touching it, otherwise someone could hold it to them and kill them). The only way to destroy it is by having a very dark, very powerful creature sacrifice themself in order to destroy it, resulting in it fading into stardust. This orbs ability allows it to purify any corrupted or cursed object/individual, heal any poison/venom/sickness, and cure any other such ailments.   Chains of Sin:
Extra light chains made of unbreakable material, that once clamped to someone, will weigh down on them, both in mind and body. This will cause them to either become very evil, or very depressed and worn, making them very easy to defeat and remove as an obstacle, since they also couldn't move very fast. The only way to remove them is if the victim comes fully to terms with everything to do with themselves (if they are already as such, then the chains cannot be put on them). It can be destroyed by sufficient Holy-Energy being placed upon it, resulting in it turning to dust.   Flowering Virtue:
A flower of extreme power, since it's a Goddess Orchid that has been chosen specifically and imbued with power. This means it doesn't follow the same rules, and only wilts upon destruction. Described as being similar to a Golden-Rayed Lily, but with petals shaped like swords that are only sharp to individuals of sufficient evil, while being of comfort to those with sufficient good. It can only be destroyed by being placed on the grave of someone dearly beloved by the user. Though it doesn't have any abilities that most can use, some individuals (such as Death Incarnate) value it almost more than anything.   Heart of Reality:
A tangling core of threads, fabrics, and realities. Ever changing, ever moving, and very abstract. Though anyone can lay eyes on it, in hindsight they can only describe it as something that God alone could understand. Touching it will cause someone to see everything, everywhere, and everyone all at once, overloading those who aren't gods and causing them to go insane. Whether they drop down from their brain overloading, or they go psychotic and blood-lusting, or start ranting incoherently. The full list of possible effects is unknown. It's abilities grant a user the ability to warp reality (to an extent) so much so, they are insanely powerful. Should they break contact with the Heart of Reality, the user will immediately cease to exist, assimilated into the Heart and become an addition to one of its threads and fabrics. The only way to destroy it is to destroy the user while they hold it. Upon destruction, the Heart of Reality will vanish in a mess of fabrics and threads, ceasing to exist.

History:

In 4369, these Nexus Seals were created as a means to seal the Twilit Gate. With each seal (including the two groups of seven and the titans) having an associated chain (having similar color scheme, themes, and so on) locked on the door. These chains are invisible at first, only becoming visible when someone tries to open the door, when they try to destroy it, or should one of the chains be broken (then only the chain thats being broken is revealed, and as such it glows brightly before shattering into thousands of shards that slowly dissipate).

Hiding:

All of these 'seals' are hidden, whether it be the Nexus Seals practically not existing until the previous seal has been destroyed, the titans hiding in the crust of the earth and as structures, or the two groups of seven as individuals who do not seem directly associated with the Twilit Gate. In order to find the Titan Council of Twelve, all of the previous Nexus Seals must be destroyed. To find a Nexus Seal, the seal before it must be destroyed, and to find the Blood Eye, enough genocide and blood-shedding must occur either within the same country or in an area, in which case it will appear in any random corpse of the hundred millions. The Seven Deadly Sins, Seven Heavenly Virtues can be found at anytime their embodiment has been created, and can be destroyed at anytime.

Alive but not:

Each of the Nexus Seals is described as being 'alive' despite them being inanimate objects. One can feel the immense amount of energy (since it's required to hold Apocrylis Sintalus inside the Twilit Gate) radiate off these Nexus Seals, and will often find them very mesmerizing, and will suddenly feel a sense of being lost if they are in the presence of a Nexus Seal being destroyed. And with the Titan Council of Twelve, they are considered statues, but have life forced into them, with sentient minds placed in their skulls. As for the Seven Deadly Sins and Seven Heavenly Virtues, they are creatures born to represent the worst or post possible attributes. While they are 'alive' strictly speaking, they do not have a soul or are truly alive as a human would be, rather, they can be compared to an A.I. that has been programmed to be self-aware.

Cores of Existence:

Each of the Nexus Seals (that being the objects) represents some core of existence and is symbolic of each Nexus Seal being broken as breaking down each part of existence to what it is at its bare minimum, to fully understand, how and why things happen the way they do. William Anderson designed it as such so that only a broken individual could lead to the breaking of these Nexus Seals, and as a result, the individual themselves would be repaired. Though the Titan Council of Twelve, Seven Deadly Sins, and Seven Heavenly Virtues also represent some aspect of reality, and serve the same purpose, they do not need to be broken by a broken individual, but rather just serve their lives as a lesson to those who require such lessons.
