William Anderson

Appearance:

Old and haggard, with long silver hair that entwines into his silver beard. His skin is pale and wrinkled, and his emerald green eyes look tired. He almost always has a pair of spectacles on his nose, along with a navy blue robe and bunny slippers. Most regularly, he is slightly hunched over, deep in thought, with his hands laced behind his back. Carries no weapons, armor, or any other such items, but merely relies on the strength he holds within himself.

Personality:

An old, quiet man who is very knowledgeable. Though he avoids having fancy things, he doesn't despise them. Often times ask immense faith of those around him due to him having a greater plan that doesn't make sense at first. He is calm, sometimes showing more happiness than somberness, but is extremely hard to anger due to his overly friendly nature. But when his wrath ensued, one could not compare anything to it. Especially since he has the power to match it. At times, he will give someone a knowing look as if piercing them with a blade of understanding, due to him being very old and his Calibers, he can understand people on a deeper level with just a look. He always knows way more than he lets on but keeps it a secret to help those around him grow.

History:

Having been born and subsequently orphaned. William was raised in a boarding school in New Lothdon. Until he was 18, then he moved out and traveled the world with what little money he had and with ways to survive he found. He eventually met his mentor and Liola Leona Anderson, learning to awaken his dormant Calibers. He grew in power and skill under the mentorship until his mentor was killed by armed thieves. Following this, William joined the Allianced Nations, starting to his story while he now has a family. Liola Leona Anderson having become his wife. Two years after the start of his story in 4334, his family is killed in an assassination. William, in grief and anger, breaks what he has been taught not to do, and uses dark magic to strengthen himself, his Calibers, and artificially extend his life span. He survives a massive siege at Magna Arbor a year later, losing more friends and removing any reason to bring himself to his most powerful. Two years later, William comes against the leader of the demons and defeats him, sealing the Twilit gate immediately after with various seals. The entire organization of demons soon crumbles as they escape to their territories and go dormant. William helps in rebuilding efforts across the country, becoming more and more somber as his friends grow of old age and pass on or die from unnatural causes. In 4400 when rumors of demon activity began circulating, William began traveling to every corner of the world that known civilization has touched or recorded, researching as much as he could and growing in power all the while. In 4470, William founds the Celestial Lumanine as a replacement for the Allianced Nations. He recruits many members and rapidly grows the organization and its wealth to a formidable force, just in time as the Heralds of the Damned emerge into the public eye. Soon after, Colton Diaíresi Toa is born, William discovers him and keeps a close eye on him until 4616 where William actively attempts and is successful at recruiting Colton Diaíresi Toa into the Celestial Lumanine.

Calibers:

William possesses many different minor Calibers, not big or strong enough to have much mention. He has a few main (and very powerful) Calibers, which he refrains from using after the Desolating Trials as much as possible, only bringing them to bear when absolutely necessary. Although he spends energy like a teenage daughter of a billionaire, he possesses enough that it rarely tires him out. Especially due to him being very efficient with his operations.   Spinal-Cutter: From a small, ornate wooden handle, William can summon an extensive whip, with pieces of razor sharp metal tied along the length of the whip, with the a spike at the end. The whip can change length up to 50 feet at William's discretion. It takes a good amount of energy to summon, repair, and extend.   Ethereal-Shockwave: By using a massive amount of his energy, William can slam a limb to any solid surface and send energy down it, warping it in shockwave. This allows him (depending on the intensity) to knock people to the ground, launch them into the air, knock things off high ledges, or halt vehicles, etc.   Foresight: This Caliber came to him near the start of Darkness of a Cursed Light after a visit from Sanctus Fons Vitae. It allows him to have an extensive knowledge of otherwise unexplored elements. This is what helps give him that almost otherworldly aura as he seems to always know or guess what is occurring. He learned to especially harness the gift of foresight due to his extensive research, power growth, and old age. Though, would not have been possible had Sanctus Fons Vitae not given it to him.   Momentum-Nullification: This is one of his most energy costing, as he spends a massive amount to instantly stop any object or being with momentum, bringing them to a perfect standstill, preventing them any harm, but preventing them from moving for a few moments afterwards. This is perfectly used against blades, bullets, projectiles, etc. The bigger, more objects, or more speed he stops, the more energy it costs, even more so if he stops a being that has a strong will.

Age: 314

William Anderson was born in 4302 right as the Mesica Civil War is beginning. The Civil War is soon brought to a close by William as his story draws to a close. Though he is hundreds of years old, his physical body looks like the age of 94. Should he ever release the dark magic keeping him alive, he will instantly perish and his body crumble to dust. As a result of his old age, he is known as a living history book, serving as a useful tool when teaching those around him a valuable lesson.

Quirk:

Despite his almost always serious nature, he can most often time be seen wearing a pair of white bunny slippers. When asked why he wears them, he states 'A hero's will is only as strong as a hero's feet are comfortable". One fact that he keeps mostly to himself except for the best moments, is that the slippers can make a sound much like a squeaking dog chew toy. They also serve as a way to keep things more positive in times of darkness, which helps everyone associate him with a sense of salvation and radiant hope. William also loves to at times turn serious moments into humorous ones with sarcasm, purposely misinterpreted sentences, or admiration of the dullest features. Especially so with his overly friendly nature.
Children

Nickname:

Although his name is 'William Anderson'. He is also Oraculi Conditor, a secret name he has used to protect himself and those around himself after the assassination of his family. It's Latin for Mentor founder.
Almost everyone calls him Oraculi, and only a very few specific individuals call him by his true first name, and only in private.

Hobby:

Oddly enough, despite his age, his favorite genre of music is electro-swing. He possesses records full of songs of that genre, and at rare times, can be seen listening to them in his room. He gets quite upset when they are broken or damaged since he is very fond of them. A favorite pastime is listening to electro-swing while gardening, he finds 'it quite a relaxing afternoon activity which relieves the soul of unwanted burden'. He also loves growing apricots, due to them being his favorite fruit. And apricot cobblers are his favorite dessert. He can almost be distracted like a child with them, of course, due to him being powerful enough, the minor distraction would be of no setback to him. He also very heavily detests things like avocados, cakes, and anything sour.
