Celestial Lumanine ((Sea-lest-shtal Loom-a-nine))

Description:

The group led by William Anderson that strives to resist Heralds of the Damned and whatever goals they try to achieve. They recruit sentients from all places, races, and almost all ages. Many join out of their own free will from their homes being destroyed, others are payed, and some are 'kidnapped' at first but then convinced to join. They never force any to join their ranks, only to hear out their cause. In the non-naive public eye, they are regarded as heroes, but in the rest they are seen as the villains with their enemies (the Heralds of the Damned) being seen as the heroes.

History:

The group unofficially began in 4400 when William began his investigating, have a few partners who aided in his investigation in an attempt to prevent the Heralds of the Damned from rising to power, with more members slowly joining.
Around 4470 William Anderson officially founded the Celestial Lumanine, rocketing its growth quite a bit. It was only really an activist group that protested, both peaceful, and in some violent ways (only directly towards those amidst illegal activity). It quickly rose in power as the Heralds of the Damned also grew in power, with many people flocking to each side. Thirty years later, the Celestial Lumanine has grown to its larger size, albeit it still being a rather small rebellion group.

Members:

The Celestial Lumanine, though mostly humans, allow any race of sentients to join (so long as they know the risks and are willing). The most common types of races to join the Celestial Lumanine are Fyaries, then Dwarves, Kekamotos and Orcaligths being the same, with Noctua being next, then Homo Gigas / Giants and Priments being the only two races that never officially join but might assist in certain moments.
Noctua are rare to be seen, with only a couple having been known to officially join the Celestial Lumanine only due to them being able to gain a substantial amount of more knowledge in the process, as they serve as very efficient data analyzers for the Celestial Lumanine.  The entire group of Celestial Lumanine works opposite as how the Heralds of the Damned runs, with William Anderson strongly encouraging members to see past each others differences and so on.

Signal:

The Celestial Lumanine have an ensign they use to help put at ease people who are under stress or chaos from war and so on. With blue and white being their signature colors, their symbol is an hexagonal border (circular inside, hexagonal outside), with a large star filling most of the area, and a flower plant blossoming in the center of the star, with the star being white and the other two being blue. Usually always placed on silver background. Unless on a cover mission, they will gladly and openly hang their symbol, as they like to be mored trusted than their enemies. They do not do it so much it feels like propaganda, just enough you know their presence is there, or something is owned/occupied by them at the current time.

Technology:

The Celestial Lumanine, unlike the Heralds of the Damned, are more poor when it comes to warfare, as a result their technology is lacking in some areas, and have to rely on pure skill, extreme and clever tactics, and remaining hidden. They also has their own armor consisting of the same color scheme as their symbol, with a modern style of Carbon-Fiber chest and leg pieces, with helmets (equipped polycarbonate visors) made of the same stuff. Not to mention, Carbon-fiber, Titanium-plated boots strong enough and padded enough they can kick and crack concrete. Though they have a few pieces of this high-quality armor, most of the soldiers have to scavenge what they can, resulting in a varying look for their forces.
They carry a variety of weapons, from all types of guns (some old, most modern, and only a small few being next-gen) to all kinds of melee weapons, to a few stringed-weapons and so on. A small portion of the members have Calibers, and as a result can use their own Caliber weapons (should they be lucky to find one to be linked to it or have one forged). To their advantage, the Celestial Lumanine do have a deeper understanding of Calibers than the Heralds of the Damned, since they do have a few Noctua on their side.

Territories:

The Celestial Lumanine only really has one completely permanent base, that being Magna Arbor, which is their headquarters and is highly defensive. They do have hundreds of smaller bases located throughout the entire world, as well as many of their members merely just hiding out in everyday places (such as houses, hotels, camps, etc). They do have a few notable bases located elsewhere which are [insert name], [insert name], and [insert name]. The Celestial Lumanine operate and have an advantage of being able to strike from seemingly out of nowhere, due to being much weaker in total strength to the Heralds of the Damned.

Motivations:

The Celestial Lumanine opposes the Heralds of the Damned, as its lead by William Anderson who has gone through the Desolation Trials and seen firsthand, the worst of the Homo Saurus / Demons. Almost all the members within the Celestial Lumanine have also seen the cruelty of the Homo Saurus / Demons, whether from their homes being destroyed, families murdered, or so on. And as a result, want both revenge, and to put a stop to the terrorist-like group. Not to mention, they all fear the release of Apocrylis Sintalus, who is literally the God of Evil. Many also do it out of patriotism, or some members (IE smugglers, mercenaries, etc) will do it due to them getting payed for their expertise skills. William Anderson also believes that the means to the end, must be as respectable as the goal, or there the point is lost.
Type
Secret, Military

Enemies:

The Celestial Lumanine are enemies with the Heralds of the Damned, and as a result, a 'war' of sorts have started out between them, with each having their own full on militaries. The Celestial Lumanine's main goal is to completely disband the Heralds of the Damned, and as result they use ruthless tactics to weaken them at every possible point. However, they don't go so far as genocide and crossing lines into remorseless and monstrous acts. They do kill any Homo Saurus / Demons when they get the chance, due to the belief they will never change their ways, but any other sentient race they will try to capture and either dissuade them to their side, or prevent them from joining the Heralds of the Damned again, whether thats by imprisonment, bribery, or simply stranding them in a town where they won't be contact again.

Weapon Arts:

The Celestial Lumanine have a refined tradition for those who possess Calibers, in which they will make weapons based specifically on each individual's Caliber(s), and serve to amplify and channel their Caliber to much greater strength. As a result, sometimes those with Calibers will slowly be bound to their weapon, able to use their Caliber directly through their weapon as if it was their own limb, which would also negate any damage done to it via the Caliber, making them much stronger. This can serve as a setback, however, should they lose this weapon and they've come to rely on it too heavily. But should they manage to hold onto it for long enough, the individual could eventually experience a massive deposit of energy to themselves and they will be able to hold and use much more energy than they could on their own (assuming they have been bound to the object). Another drawback is that the right materials have to be in the right configuration of a weapon for it to be successfully bound to an individual, with it changing per individual and their Caliber (IE a taser might work for an individual with an ability to generate lightning on their body, but not for an individual who can only drain electricity or almost any other Caliber, or if the weapon is too big (IE a tank, cannon, most RPG's, stationary machine guns, and so on. General rule of thumb about it, if it's handheld and has the same theme as the individual's Caliber, it will most likely work).
