Tremors under the Evergreen Terraces

General Summary

The party consisting of Tey, Seth and Jhaan found their way to a sinkhole that suddenly appeared in the Evergreen Terraces district, discovering the 3 survivors of the sinkhole and the single casualty. Jhaan discovered a caved in pathway that Seth helped clear out. On the other side of which was a natural stone chamber that lead further inside into a more artifical worked ridge over a chasm that was itself connected to a dining chamber of sorts with some rusted and corroded weapons and two suits of armor in similar condition. A closer inspection on the room revealed a corpse whose flesh was partially missing with the bone left behind in the torso and head area, jhaan also was able to learn that this body belonged to a yuan-ti.   Upon closer inspection, the armor suits in the room appeared to be alive or animated in some shape or form amd were actively fighting back. Once the armors were defeated, they party inspected the suits and found that they were in fact a type of crustacean or mullusk-like creature in the shape of armor.   Jhaan used a magic detection spell which revealed a faint aura in a nearby room which was blocked by a reinforced door that was beaten down by Tey and Seth. The room contained a strange twisted metal shape lined with tiny holes which Seth activated, revealing it to be a gaseous construct of some kind which would follow his commands.   Journeying further into the construction of this underground facility the group came about a field of weak evocation magic with some old and rotting training dummies, as well as a barracks room of beds and lodging, long abandoned. Finding no more open paths to follow, the party headed back outside. The Dean of the College of Named arts promised to make a better-prepared expedition into the newly discovered ruins.
