Biography

Overview

Bea was born on the 4th of Fjorm 8569 b. BF in Lionstone as the first daughter of Duke Blacklow of Lionstone, a distant relative of the royal bloodline. Like most other nobles she was educated very well and manner. However, since the laws of inheritance intended to give all the heritage to her younger brother Stephan, she parted very early with her family, not interested to be forced to marry some other noble prince. Instead, she adapted (more a less) the lifestyle of a commoner and citizen. In 8545 b. BF, she invested a lot of money and founded the very first house of pleasures in Lionstone, initially disguised as an inn. Her reputation quickly rose and soon her name was known in all parts of Lionstone. Bea's father and brother made attempts to close the business she was running, but Bea was supported by too many customers and couldn't be stopped anymore. Her business prospered and soon resulted in other people opening similar houses, working hand in hand with Bea. The Human Empire was filled with distrust and depression, due to the merciless hunt on the Dark Church and the people appreciated a business like hers to get some relief and joy. Bea spent most of her income on inns and wineries.
After Bea's death in 8509 b. BF, the people requested to raise her to a saint. Eventually in 8508 b. BF, King Daneb decided to add Bea to the pantheon as the goddess of love and wine. Her remarkable history, influence, wealth, and distinct relation to Rondra, and additionally the rising requests from the people left him almost no other choice. With that multiple problems about the The Pantheon of the Twelve-Gods were solved: Instead of eleven gods + The Nameless, the pantheon now contained twelve gods and The Nameless as its antagonist. Additionally, a balanced ratio between male and female gods was achieved and a patron for landlords, hosts, and bartenders was given to them.

Influence

Bea is a so-called 'Free God', which means there are no official churches or temples dedicated to her. She is more like a patron for landlords, bartenders, young couples, and everyone who enjoys the joys of wine. Almost every inn is more or less dedicated to Bea and every year at the 6th of Bea theHumans celebrate The Day of Wine, a festival to honor Bea, including excessive amounts of wine, music, and fun.
