Xannorixite

Xannorixite (pronounced ZAN-nor-izite) is the capital of the Deep Gnomes of the Underdark, a literally moving city that is capable of traveling through stone and rock by the power of the terra-swimming Deep Gnomes. Home to some Duergar and Drow as well, the city is primarily ruled by the Gnomes and constantly travels to avoid detection by other Underdark forces such as the Mindflayers and Beholders.

Demographics

The city is primarily comprised of Deep Gnomes with a small spicing of Duergar and Drow, though the city is keen to keep those who wish to wage war out of their population. They do not seek war or aggression with the other Underdark races for fear of discovery, and so they are focused on being stealthy, careful, and quiet.

• The Keepers: The keepers are the powerful Deep Gnome geomancers that are responsible for the movement of the city, serving as the ones to keep watch and management over the city's various wards and outer protections.
