Elfincleaver
Elfincleaver was the ancient axe wielded by the Orcish Dominus Zahm the Feybane. Capable of cutting through the powerful innate magic of the elves and fey alike, Zahm forged this weapon under the guidance of the Fire Giant Thorym at the Realmsheart Forge of Hellgarden.
Mechanics & Inner Workings
Elfincleaver is a magical battle axe that gives the wielder a +3 bonus to all attack and damage rolls made with it. It also deals an extra 1d6 necrotic damage on a successful hit, which changes to 2d8 necrotic damage if the target has Elven or Fey lineage.
- All attacks made against Elves, Fey, or Druids have Advantage, and the axe treats rolls of 19 and 20 as Critical Hits for these creatures.
- The wielder may use a Bonus Action to look through the Seeing Stone in the axe, gaining Truesight up to a 60-foot cone depending on where they look.
- Once per day, the axe may cast the spell Protection From Evil and Good on the wielder.

Raw materials & Components
Elfincleaver's handle was formed from the wood of a dead Rowan tree cut down in the dead of winter. Its blade was formed out of Deadglass, a Shadowfell material formed by Shadowstorms striking its beachheads with lightning, which naturally holds necromantic properties. The bones of slain elves and boiled and had their marrow distilled to be used in both the quenching and actual the forging of the blade, giving the ax-head a unique marbling upon its completion. The grip was formed of nearly indestructible Aurochs' leather, and finally, a seeing stone was added to the center of the ax head, allowing Zahm to see through the illusions of the fey by looking through the sight cut. Lastly, all of these components were set within a head of Orichalcum, which Zahm himself mined from the Sagehorns. This gave the axe its trademark green look.
