Port Xura

Demographics

The majority of the city is populated by an even blend of Humans, Half-Elves and Dwarves with Elves following close behind. Halflings and Gnomes are also present, though settle into a minority.

Government

With the emergence of the Triumverate, Port Xura is a rennovated city under the banner of the ambassadorial Mulhasen Coalition. This is a definite oddity compared to other cities on Dumort, which operate more akin to City-States with loose alliances.

History

The city was once a seaside fortress built by Elves during the early days of mortals but fell during the invasion of Quiinar (later becoming known as Tieflings) emerging from the Underdark. As overseas trade became more and more commonplace, ambassadors from the old kingdoms of Juddulhon founded a presence in the ruins after they were cleared of the Quiinar still lingering within. The city was officialy titled Port Xura after the Selmorin War.
