Batee
Oberun's Native Language
Batee is the ancestral native language of the Baton people of Oberun's Isle in Tobia's Gulf of the major continent of Ethae. The language the similar similar grammar structure of Lhaka and Mainesha, giving rise to the belief that it finds its some of its roots in ancient Enisha, like so many other tongues of Anbar.
Batee is only spoken on Oberun, by the Baton, who, despite knowing the Common Tongue, keep Batee alive as a cultural heritage. Foreigners rarely have learned this togue. Not because the Baton keep it to themselves, but rather, most outsiders never see the point of learning a language that has no practical use, considering all Baton known Common.
