Eromena {New God} 's Request:
Eromena appears in Theo Atzetari ’s room, asking him to go to the Grand Library of Kienna . She instructs him to give Kienna a book, "Necromancing for Dummies" by Gamrith (Victor Mortis ), and then stab her with a crystal dagger. Kienna has been searching for necromancy books. It’s revealed that Ulric and Kienna were friends.
Recruitment Journey: Theo embarks on a recruitment journey as people start feeling that something is wrong: Korzin Sabroth feels unbalanced. Cila Colkyre feels unjust. Besar feels more powerful to Aphro than ever before. Alfie Sophia Timoria senses that Oculus is in a fight but is not winning.
Kienna's Death and Aftermath: Kienna is killed by Theo, but on the way out, a book is stolen—a romance novel titled "The Heat in the Spring" by Alvis Sifuentes . Kienna is resurrected as a Dracolich (zombie dragon), breathing demonic fire and flying towards the camp. Besar feels stronger than ever as Kienna rises. Murium feels overwhelmed by everything happening, while Tidbit is having the time of his life. Cosmos is acting independently, trying to end the war with Victor, Venari , and Josta
Events at Camp: The storm rages at camp, but Kienna doesn’t immediately appear. She later makes a rip in space and time into Hell, allowing demons to leak into the material plane, 200-300 miles southwest of the camp.
Bliznea and Onasis Shop: The group skips class and heads to Bliznia , specifically to the Onasis Gyro and Malts , where Ares Onasis is present. Outside, Constable Byron Irons (a former Bliznea High quarterback and rival of Ulrich Atzetari ) is being difficult, trying to cop Theo for nothing. Vert , a man with blond hair and a long green overcoat, arrives, followed by a senator—a half-elf female with reddish hair and freckles. They discuss needing shipments for soldiers, with plans to use the old docks. Gerald the Chipmunk is humorously found in the bathroom.
Return to Camp: Zortgilea 's carriage appears in front of Aphro as they prepare for battle. The Dracolich has caused a tear into Hell, leading multiple heroes to be sent to the battlefield. The battle involves The Emerald Hood , Sophia Timoria , a fairy with a magic bow, a druid shifting into different animals, and someone shooting fireballs. Victor transforms into Besar, but Aphro rejects Besar, causing Besar to disappear and the rift to close. Besar returns to prison because of Aphro’s rejection.
Final Moments: Theo says his goodbyes to Zephyr before heading into battle.
