T'ang-Su Karate
One of the most ancient and rudimentary martial arts, T'ang-Su was developed by secret underworld factions in response to harsh laws and penalties that developed around carrying arms, especially those that could be linked to street crime. Actual masters of this art are relatively rare - most practicioners of the art are superficial and focus only on its immediate destructive power, which they utilize to intimidate their marks.
Organized Thieves guilds have devoted themselves to more rigorous training of this style which they have incorportated with their strict but unorthodox survival training. They prefer this style because of its secrtetive nature and its tendency to be the "hardest" of the many styles, focusing on damaging strength over speed or agility.
Training combines martial art techniques with wilderness survival. Students often have to run through snow, climb mountains, and swim rivers, all while in their skimpy Karate outfits.
