Crusader II
"I, Crusader, am the grail of Broden. Forged by through the tears of a faithful woman, made whole by the will of a loving man, I was called into existence. I reveal myself to the worthy, only and I judge you so. I will aid servants of Balera but may only be claimed, in my fullness, by my soulbearer. Bring me to him or suffer the wrath of the Holy One."
Crusader is a plain-looking Broadsword with a handsomely sculpted lion’s head pommel. This appearance is deceptive, however, as it contains great power. The sword is not a holy avenger, but it does have several exceptional features.
The blade is made of solid mithril silver. It never requires sharpening and does not rust, tarnish, break, or bend.

- 10% Magic Resistance for wielder
- When wielder is mounted, they get +2 save vs. magic of any sort
- Glows with Continual Light (on command)
- Wielder may cast Dispel Magic at 20th level, 2/day
- If dropped, returns to wielder's hand at the beginning of the next round.
- Bonding
- Psi
- The Wielder and any lawful good companions receive +2 to all saving throws (50ft. radius)
- Any evil creature touching the hilt or pommel suffers 2d6 points of damage each round, no saving throw. Furthermore, it cannot easily harm creatures of good alignment. If a good-aligned creature is attacked with Crusader, knowingly or otherwise, the sword hits only on a natural 20 and inflicts d4 points of damage plus the wielder’s strength bonus.
- Its alignment is lawful good, and it has an Intelligence of 15 and an Ego of 8.
