Shadow's Rest Keep

Shadow’s Rest Keep is an ancient ruin shrouded in mystery, hidden deep within the unforgiving peaks of The Bittercrag Mountains. Serving as the secret stronghold of The Dawn Wardens, it is a place few outside the order have ever seen. Perched high in the mountains, the keep is concealed by a sheer cliff face and nestled within a network of cavernous rock formations, making it nearly impossible to find without prior knowledge of its location.
Once a forgotten relic of a bygone age, Shadow’s Rest was rediscovered by Elios Duskbane, Founder of the Dawn Wardens during a relentless pursuit of a vampire. He tracked his prey into the crumbling halls of the ruin, where remnants of an ancient and long-forgotten stronghold lay buried beneath centuries of ice and stone. Recognizing its tactical advantage—both defensible and hidden from prying eyes—he and his wife, Allara, claimed the keep as the home and headquarters of the Dawn Wardens.
Over time, the Wardens reinforced the structure, adapting its weathered walls into a formidable sanctuary for their order. The keep is a labyrinth of frostbitten corridors, collapsed towers, and chambers lit only by flickering lanterns, with hidden passages that wind through the mountain itself. Despite the ruinous state of many of its halls, it remains a place of knowledge and training, where hunters gather to share what they have learned of the darkness they fight.
