Otto

Otto is the second son of Ealhhelm , and Old Nick’s biological brother. He adopted the teenage Kalfr after Nickolas’ descent into madness and subsequent death. He is probably the most sympathetic of the brothers, though is very shrewd and demanding of his peers. His disposition is quiet but highly intelligent and thoughtful.

Otto married a minor Belanos noblewoman and moved his family to the southern city of Eldmoder.

Nickolas states in a letter that Otto is the only relative he trusted with his children, which was why he asked him to look after Kalfr.
