The Airship Guild Hub
The "Hub", the headquarters of the Airship Guild is a collection of 15 ships that travel in a convoy. They are nearly constantly in the air, only going to port a couple at a time to restock on supplies. They slowly travel the world, typically travelling at around 3-5 knots, and act as the hub of airship guild operations. While the guild has individual operations in each nation/area, the hub is supreme. All members started at the hub, and most will end up there.
Demographics
700 gnomes. A mix of the command structure of the Airship Guild and the trainees in their first 2 years. There are no non-employees on board, and it is all strictly run.
Government
Commanded by the 5 heads of the guild, who live on board the command ship. From there, they can send messages with speaking stones to any of the area subguilds, and through them, to any ship they wish. All residents are employees, so it is a company structure.
Defences
The guild military, and most of the ships have a pair of bottom mounted ballistae and a top mounted small ballista. And of course the fact that they are thousands of feet in the air. Oh and of course the oilers can heat their load up to around 300 C and drop it.
Industry & Trade
The "Hub" can build and refurbish new airships, but other than that, it just serves as the nerve center of the wealthiest guild on the planet.
Infrastructure
15 airships, as well as a system of carts and ropes to get between them. Also a few smaller subsidiary airships. Within them, full living quarters, kitchens, common areas, everything a gnome needs.

History
The hub started soon after the guild did, in 5920 of the second age. It began as simply the ship with the guildmaster on board, but that ship eventually stopped taking passangers and cargo. It was refitted for exclusive gnome use, and slowly the settlement grew.
