Duram

This small dwarven city, the largest dwarven settlement in Herulia, Duram is a well built stronghold within the Herulian Hills. Duram is the seat of the Clan Hanadihindin (The great cliff of the hill). Once conqured by the Marquis Hareford, a few centuries back it was returned to the dwarves in exchange for the entrance of Zhakhzad in Albion.

Demographics

Almost entirely dwarven, there are a couple dozen humans and elves within the mountain home. This is mostly due to the relatively integrated nature of the community, and the relative opennes of the hill dwarves. There are around half a gross of gnomes. The rest are hill dwarves, though a few dwarves have mountain dwarf heritage.

Government

This is the seat of the Clan Hanadihindin, the current Clan Father is Hanadihindin Haras Borgni, while the Clan Mother is Hanadihindin Samkur Jovor. They control the majority of the Herulian Hills, which is a total of 18 mountain homes, which are roughly the equivalent to a human manor. This town of Duram itself is mostly run by the Clan Mother, while the trade and relations with the 17 lesser mountain homes are managed by the Clan Father.
