The "Common Tongue"
With the vast spread of Ithulia and its mercantile nature and naval based society, its language quickly became the "Tongue of Trade" in Eboria. Most men learned it, even throughout the Mydyan and Mytherian eras. Eventually, even the elves, dwarves and other races who interacted often with men started to learn it too.
