Amathea Oresus

Queen Amathea Oresus (a.k.a. The Wise Regent)

Wife of King Hevisius Ivesis, Queen Amathea acted as a regent for most of her ill husband's reign. Plagued by the Snake Delusion, Hevisius was also the target of a vast revolt (The Time Rift), which was put down largely by Amathea herself. She would continue to rule for her husband until her death in 335, their son Prince Daetarion taking up the regency in her place. Distinguishing herself as one of Scaesia's most loved royal consort, Amathea Oresus entered history alongside Namys Amarion, Nikanor Oresus and the very first queen, Valeria Naelyros.
