Eddington Confederation Merges with the Thirewynian Empire

After years of political marriages and alliances in 'the great war' and other small conflicts in the proceeding years, during the 280th anniversary celebration of the empire, with the leaderships and royalty of the Edington Confederation in attendance, it is announced that the two empires will be joining together to become a 'greater Thirewyn empire'. While the current system and government of the Thirewyn empire remained, the political positioning and marriages, and the alliance built over the many decades previously, allowed for a smooth transition into the empire for years to come and expanding the empire's borders from Aynvale in the north to Pinewood in the south, well over 2/3rds of the continent. The only remaining holds to not join the empire at this point is the Roughlands and Reach.
