Trelta, Goddess of Justice and Light

Overview

Trelta is the embodiment of Light, Justice, and Peace, serving as a guiding force of hope, fairness, and harmony in the world. She is the patron of those who fight for righteousness, protect the innocent, and seek to bring balance to the world. Her light symbolizes not just physical brightness but clarity of mind, truth, and the warmth of compassion. She stands as a beacon of justice, ever watchful for imbalance or corruption, and seeks to bring about peace through understanding, empathy, and diplomacy. She was the second Gandur to come into existence right alongside her older brother, Adamas, The God of Order and Time . Her strong sense of justice and yearning for peace made her immediately join the side of her brother against Chaos/She That Devours in trying to seal her progenitor away. Through great struggle alongside her other brother and sister, Baladax, God of Magic and Elements and Lilith, Goddess of Darkness and Shadow, the four of the Gandur were able to achieve the nearly impossible feat of Godhood.

Appearance in Art

Trelta’s presence is radiant, casting an ethereal glow that seems to illuminate the very air around her. Her skin is a luminous gold, soft like the warmth of dawn, and her hair flows like liquid silver, shimmering with threads of pure white and pale blue, constantly shifting and reflecting the light in a celestial dance. Her eyes are pools of brilliant light, shifting between hues of soft blue and glowing amber, ever-changing but always warm and welcoming. She is of a majestic height, yet her presence exudes gentleness and comfort. Trelta often appears in a flowing robe of pure white, accented with delicate symbols of scales and rays of light. Her robes seem to flutter as if caught by an unseen breeze, and the edges sparkle with stardust. Around her neck, she wears a pendant shaped like a radiant ankh, the symbol of her divine power and her connection to the light.

Beliefs of Followers

Trelta is a being of incredible compassion, wisdom, and serenity. She embodies the balance between strength and kindness, wielding her power not as a means of domination, but as a tool to protect the weak and to bring harmony to the world. Her voice is calm and gentle, but when she speaks, it carries the weight of truth. Her followers know her as both a mother figure and a stern protector, for she believes that true justice is only found through peace, and peace can only be upheld through justice. Trelta is fiercely dedicated to the eradication of corruption and darkness. She believes that light, both literal and metaphorical, has the power to cleanse and transform all things. However, she is also patient, understanding that true change requires time and persistent effort. Her sense of justice is tempered with mercy, and her followers are often taught to strive for redemption and understanding, rather than punishment and wrath. She judges not only through the deeds of an individual but also through the context of their choices, always striving to bring forth the best in others, even in the darkest of situations. Trelta teaches that the divine light resides in all beings, waiting to be discovered and nurtured. Followers are encouraged to seek the truth within themselves, to explore their purpose, and to shine as a beacon of hope and kindness in the world. The light represents not only goodness but the clarity of mind and spirit. Cultivate purity, transparency, and wisdom within yourself, and let it guide your actions. Trelta believes that true justice is not simply the enforcement of rules but the pursuit of what is right, balanced, and fair. Followers are encouraged to stand up for the oppressed, the voiceless, and the downtrodden. However, justice must always be tempered with mercy and compassion. To act in the name of justice is to bring balance, not vengeance, and to seek out reconciliation over conflict. Remember that every being has their own story, and understanding is often the path to true justice. It is the goal of every follower to foster peace wherever they go healing wounds of both a physical and emotional sense.

Symbol and Worship

Trelta’s symbol is a radiant golden ankh weighted on both sides by the scales of justice, with a pure white dove perched upon one of the scales. The ankh represents her domain over Light, illuminating the path of righteousness and peace, while the scales of justice signify her commitment to fairness and equality. The dove, often seen as a symbol of peace, embodies her role as the Goddess of Peace, carrying the message of harmony and reconciliation.

Trelta’s worship focuses on spreading justice, peace, and hope, both through rituals and in the daily lives of her followers. Her temples and places of worship are typically open, well-lit spaces, often found on hilltops or near bodies of water, where the sun’s rays can shine directly on the sacred grounds. They are often surrounded by lush gardens, symbolizing her connection to life and harmony.

Followers of Trelta engage in daily rituals of reflection, meditation, and prayer, seeking inner peace and guidance for the path of righteousness. Priests and priestesses of Trelta often wear robes of white, gold, or pale blue, colors that symbolize purity and clarity. The act of lighting candles is an essential part of Trelta’s worship, representing the light of truth and justice overcoming the shadows of deceit and oppression.
