Physical Description

Body Features

On 4-Legs

A large, fierce cat. A lean body with powerful shoulders and oversized paws. A shaggy mane surround his angular face; his ears are tipped with black tufts. White fangs curve down over his jaw. His eyes have a habit of changing colour.

On 2-Legs

He appears as a boy with shaggy black hair. While on 2-legs he often wields a black dagger.

Apparel & Accessories

When on 2-legs; a loin cloth and black dagger.

Mental characteristics

Personal history

He was present at the Battle Under Farthen Dûr and the every subsequent battle the Varden fought in the Rider War. When engaged in battle he prefers to stand on two-legs and wielding his black dagger.

Motivation

Solembum likes to be around interesting people, he may be rude to those he talks to, but if he talks to someone it means that they are probably going to shape the future.

In the past 50 years he has taken interest in 6 people (excluding Angela):

• Selena,
• A male blind beggar,
• Eragon Shadeslayer (and by extension Saphira Bightscales),
• And the women known as Wolf-eyes and Bladesinger

Contacts & Relations

He travels with Angela the Herbalist.

He shows neither love nor hate towards her, he simply finds her company amusing and interesting. However he is protective of her in battle, killing those who would attempt to attack her from behind. It is rather uncommon among the werecats to be attached to a human as Solembum is to Angela.
