The Imerans

Structure

The Imerans. The Background Recorders. The followers of Imera are very organized and structured. They would be highly focused on discipline, order, and following rules. They would likely be united in their devotion to the Goddess and would seek to promote the principles of law and order throughout the world. The organization of their faith might resemble a hierarchy, with priests and other religious leaders at the top, followed by various levels of acolytes, initiates, and laypeople. The faithful might gather in large court halls, where they would engage in rituals and ceremonies to honor their Goddess and seek guidance.

Worship

The courtroom is the temple for Imera. Simple pews for the crowds, humble desks for the sides of the accused and accuser, and a looming high top where a Judge decides the fate of those present according to the land.

Priesthood

The secret ritual of the faithful followers of Imera is called the Trial of Logic. During this ritual, the initiate must navigate through a complex maze filled with puzzles and riddles that must be solved using logic and critical thinking. The maze is guarded by fierce lions, soaring falcons, and electric stingrays, and the initiate must prove their worth by overcoming these challenges and reaching the end of the maze.
Once they have completed the maze, the initiate is presented with a magical gemstone that glows brightly with a cool blue light, symbolizing their mastery of logic and reason. From this day on, the initiate is considered a full-fledged member of the faithful and is granted access to the inner sanctum of the court houses, where they can study and meditate on the principles of logic and justice.
