New Albion

New Albion? Phfaw. What a perverted joke. Even if they think themselves the equal in ideology of that hideous blight on the Sovereign Isles' history, do they really expect they can claim ownership when they have not a thousandth of the membership of that old group? Ha! New Albion. Right. More like Kain's Brokeness if you ask me...
— Aurich Stovkin, Lord Governor of the Embershroud Company

Demographics

New Albion is 100% Human, given its nature as a wholly racist organization. Occasionally, they have played party to dwarves, elves, and halflings, but only as prisoners kidnapped from Akratia's Edge, which lies a mere three days travel away.

Government

New Albion is governed through a religious and racist autocracy, led by the Golden Prophet Kain the Broken. At the moment, with so few people, Kain relies upon the services of a rogue Spark, Lavinia to ensure his outpost's survival and success. Kain organizes regular raids on Akratia's Edge for any food or supplies that they may require.

Infrastructure

The Prophets of a New Age have done little to expand upon the fortress of New Albion, though they have only resided there a short time. Despite their low numbers (or perhaps because of it), they do not require much beyond what the dwarves of old built - aside from perhaps longer beds.

History

The foundation of New Albion is a very recent event, having only officially occurred on the 7th of Goldleaf, 1519 when, after three days of travel from Akratia's Edge (after a riot broke out during the independence celebrations of the 4th of Goldleaf) Kain the Broken and his followers were led to the mountain fortress which they made their own.

Geography

New Albion sits upon the heights of a mountain, (named by Kain and his people Mount Albion), in the remains of a once Dwarven fortress and ritual arena. There is one primary path to New Albion - a series of precarious switchbacks leading from the forested hills down below straight up the side of the mountain, though other paths may exist (including the Tinklebeast infested tunnels beneath the mountain that were destroyed by Sparks from the Embershroud Company).
