Master of Arcane Discipline (Various)
Within the Academy Arcane, those who wish to teach must attain the rank of Master of a single arcane discipline to qualify as a full professor. This process can take years or even decades, and it must be overseen by both a current Master and the Archmagus herself.
Those who attain this rank are then given the title of Master of [discipline], appiled after the name, often abbreviated as M. [discipline abbreviation]. They are, as follows:
Master of Abjuration; M.Ab.
Master of Conjuration; M.Con.
Master of Divination; M.Div.
Master of Enchantment; M.En.
Master of Evocation; M.Evo.
Master of Illusion; M.Ill.
Master of Transmutation; M.Trans.
Master of War Magic; M.War
No master of Necromancy exists, as that discipline is outlawed in Akkadian society.
