The Order seeks to maintain the peace and provide religious enlightenment to the populus, while remaining ever-vigilant against the threat of undeath.

History

The Alabaster Order began as a fringe cult during the War of Undeath in the year 1056 ACF, comprised solely of those who devoted themselves directy to the Great Alabaster Dragon. After the Dragon and her followers led Akkadia to victory, steps began to found a formal religious institution. The Order quickly gained followers and political power. By 1063 ACF, The High Priest was elected as the prime minister of Akkadia, with the parlaiment comprised mainly of The Order's Deacons. Today, it continues to hold sway, with most people in Akkadia being devout followers of The Order, and its Paladins protect the city from The Order's greatest threats.
