Hospot Aposital

The Hospot Apostial is a building typically found on the side of a temple to Cedis the God of Land dedicated to healing the sick. The entrance is often overgrown and wild with vines, leaves, and budding flowers, the plants grown here are medicinal in nature and are taken care of by the devotees of Cedis. In quiet times those dedicated to Cedis spend their time in contemplative gardens, and in busy hours spend time healing any and all who seek their aid. The head of the Hospot Aposital is the Sital who runs the entire building and all of the dedicated physicians.

Purpose / Function

To provide aid to the sick and afflicted and peace and quiet to those who seek the gardens, while still showing worship to Cedis. The gardens grow only medical herbs and plants needed to treat a variety of ailments so that the physicians can make medicine on site.

Architecture

Hospot Aspostials are smaller buildings compared to the temples they exist alongside. They are efficiently laid out to accommodate as many people as possible, with plants growing in every room. Making the entire building both garden and clinic.

History

Hospot Apostials were the first temples dedicated to Cedis and his work, showing worship through good deeds. It is believed that Cedis created the first one to tend to humans after the The Battle of Sealing. It wasn't until the beginning of Era 2 that temples were built alongside to separate the most devoted and dedicated Cedisians and those who come only for Rite of passage and to leave offerings to gain favor. And to keep them out of the way of the physicians.
