Oneiarch
The Oneiarchs are powerful Dream Spirits elevated to near-divine status by proximity to Ythar, The God of Dreams. Though not gods themselves, they are the dream-world's lords, embodying primal emotions, subconscious archetypes, and surreal laws that govern the ever-shifting Plane of Dreams. Each Oneiarch is a unique and contradictory entity — one may represent joyful nostalgia, while another might manifest as the fear of falling or the illusion of control.
Oneiarchs do not walk the waking world in physical form. Instead, they manifest in visions, omens, and moments where the veil between consciousness and slumber thins. Mortals may unknowingly bargain with them in lucid dreams or be forever changed by a single whispered encounter.
They hold vast influence over mortals' psyches, shaping ambitions, nightmares, forgotten memories, and even the latent arcane potential buried within dreamers. Their fealty is only to Ythar, and their goals often seem inscrutable — driven by dream logic rather than mortal rationale.
