Nalani Solvelar
Nalani is the second daughter of Vireya, born of a union between the matron and a wandering elven fire mage who vanished into the sands years ago. Though she lacks her mother’s overt power, Nalani commands an invisible empire of whispers. As Whisper of the Seat, she oversees the Emberstone’s informants, traders, illusionists, and illusion-crafters who spy and gather knowledge both within and beyond the Crimson Sands.
Often found cloaked in sand-colored silks and perfume that masks her scent from divination, Nalani is equal parts charm and shadow. She plays the part of hostess and diplomat with effortless grace, but beneath her practiced smile is a mind calculating dozens of contingencies. In court and council, she speaks softly, but her words often shift the tide more than swords ever could.
