Grainrun, The Hearthbearer
Grainrun is a radiant, earthy figure with limbs of living wood and hair of golden grain, often seen walking through fields during the early dawn with sun-kissed skin and hands that bloom with wheat. Their current is strong but nurturing, carving paths that feed the fields and bring life to the plains. Grainrun is said to bless honest labor and reward those who live in balance with the land.
Farmers give thanks to Grainrun with loaves of first harvest bread or braided straw effigies. In dry years, processions walk alongside the river singing harvest hymns, asking the Hearthbearer to bless the land once more.
