Geona, Goddess of Nightmares
Geona is the dark and twisted goddess who rules the nightmarish depths within the realm of dreams—dwelling inside the very mind of Ythar, God of Dreams. She is a shadowy presence, ever shifting and unsettling, her form a cascade of writhing darkness pierced by flickers of tormenting visions and sinister whispers.
As the embodiment of fear, corruption, and despair in the dreamscape, Geona taints all who enter her domain. Spirits and mortals alike who wander into her plane risk being consumed or forever marked by her influence. She corrupts the innocent with haunting illusions and distorts reality within dreams, turning hope to dread and peace to turmoil.
Though she exists as a part of Ythar’s mind, Geona’s will is independent and insidious—constantly seeking to expand her influence beyond the dream world into waking life. Her followers are often those who embrace chaos, madness, and the darker aspects of the subconscious, including cultists, mad seers, and nightmare-touched creatures.
