Caelthys, The Whispering Gale

Unseen yet ever-present, Caelthys is the Titan of Air, a sovereign of wind, sky, and tempest. She is the breath between mountains, the roar of hurricanes, and the still hush before a storm breaks. Her form is rarely witnessed in its entirety—ever shifting, like clouds torn by wind—but when she manifests, it is as a towering figure woven of mist, lightning, and spiraling wind, her eyes twin spheres of pale white light that shimmer like the sun through fog.

Caelthys is mercurial and vast, playful and devastating. She is freedom incarnate, forever untethered to the ground or the rigid laws of mortals. Her voice can be a soft whisper that carries secrets across the world or a scream of thunder that drowns whole fleets. She governs the weather, the breath of life, the soaring heights of birds and airships, and the chaotic artistry of flight and motion. To some, she is inspiration and liberation; to others, she is a storm without warning or mercy.

The aarakocra, skyborn elves, storm sorcerers, and wind-callers venerate Caelthys as the Spirit of all open spaces and unpredictable change. Monasteries built upon mountaintops, carved into cliff faces or floating on the updrafts of ancient magical winds, serve as her temples. Her followers seek balance between motion and stillness, voice and silence, freedom and control.

During The Fracture War, Caelthys chose no allegiance, though her moods would often shift the tide of battle. She tore apart legions with cyclones one day and scattered poison clouds the next, not for loyalty or malice, but as a force answering to no will but her own. Her presence was a chaotic blessing or a devastating curse, depending on whom the wind favored.
