Woodcutters

Although very different from the Orders of Purity in their motivations and methodology, the Woodcutters undertake much of the same work, in many of the same locations, and with a similar, all-consuming passion. The Woodcutters are an association, more than an order, of druids, rangers and other devotees of the natural and the primal who have undertaken to guide and drive forward the reclamation of the Dark lands from the ruin left upon it by the dying Dark Lords.
The defining characteristic of a Woodcutter is conviction. They are always driven by an absolute dedication to the reclamation, far beyond the already stubborn sense of duty that is socially ingrained in all Orcs (even, perhaps especially, the ones who act out against it.) No-one is entirely sure what provokes this conviction in any given Woodcutter, but each has their own story, very few of which involve any kind of vengeance. Perhaps it is the influence of the Ancestors, or just a childhood encounter in the untamed wilds of the Dark lands.
Alone among the orcs of the Darklands, the Woodcutters have a working relationship with the dark wolves, the largest and most int­elligent of the country's wolf breeds.
