Xalatha, the Ebon Twin, brother of Taglath, was the foremost hunter-god of the Thirteen. He taught his followers the arts of stealth and patience, spying and deception. His fortress high in the mountains was a natural haunt of great bats, which he bred for spying and skirmishing.
Xalatha fled before The Uprising to shelter in his fortress, wounded by the spear Blind Vengeance. He believed himself unassailable, but his renegade Legion used his own arts of misinformation against him, luring him from behind his walls and into a clash with the loyalists of the Unsleeping Vigil, where the blade of Dark Star ended his material Existence.
