Lady of Serpents

The Lady of Serpents is the patron and tutelary deity of the Zeranzeri Drow. Along with the other Zeranzeri Deities, she is said to have led the clan out of the Underhollows to claim the realm of Azeranzerai. Despite notable cosmetic similarities, she is known to be an implacable foe to the Three-Headed Serpent of the Ophionic Empire.
Like all Elven deities, the Lady has no proper name, only a title. Unlike traditional Drow Gods, she has a definite gender. Some traditionalists among the Drow see it as a stark impropriety and a sign of unhealthy surface influence to worship a deity whose gender is public.
