Holy Kingdom
The God-Queen emerged from the deep forests on the eastern slopes of the Spine. She was an archfae, without question, steeped in the power of the Primal Wild and the Faewolds, but by all accounts, she had been born a mortal, human woman, trained in the same druidic traditions as the Hecaton of the Heptarchy; some said she was a student of the Hecaton, others a teacher. She made pacts with the Regime which bound her to the land of the material plane, then overthrew her employers through charm and enchantment. As the senates bowed to her, she opened every cry wall to the wild, replacing the defences built by craft with great, encircling groves of interlocking trees guarded by mighty faebeasts.
Aided by Fae allies and the folk of Ardheim, she defeated incursions by the undead and unnatural. She had a capital city - the stronghold of Rotwall - but the wilderness was her true hall, leaving matters of economics and bureaucracy to her lieutenants, the Red Regent in the south and the White Baron in the north.
