Fathomless Vertex

Suspended in the dark of the chasm Escharon, the Vertex is an intricate scaffoding, built from the corpse of the Abyssborn Loths Ixis the Gloomshrouded around the crystal of the Pillar Aspiring. Ladders and elevators provide passage from the lower layers of The Abyss to the Plain of Strife, and even to the depths of the Underhollows.
This valuable passage is defended and managed by the Archimandrates of the Ascent, Astolat the Bloodbane and Diyah the Silvertongued. It is as fiercely guarded as the Bladed Circle itself, in order to prevent the chasm falling to the demons of Alathkthi.
