Dwarvern Craft

Of all the lineages of Aiaos, the Dwarfs are most closely associated with the study of geology, and in the field of metallurgy are rivalled only by the Orcs.
Being born of stone and developed as a culture surrounded by it, the study of the nature of different types of rock, earth and mineral has both spiritual and biomedical significance to the dwarfs. While they are made of flesh and not stone, their bodies exist in a singular symbiosis with the minerals of the ground, and the composition of the dome is as central to their cosmology as the nature of the sky is to surface-dwelling cultures.
As an outgrowth of these fields, dwarfs are also leaders in alchemy, Artifice and automata, as well as the development of explosives and firearms. They tend to be better at the perfection of simple forms than the creation of complex mechanisms, which are more associated with gnomish artificers.
