Zeal

The last living memory of the Old Vacillian gods. When the country and its memory was wiped out, the three gods who watched over the place died with it. All that remains is the interpretation of those gods by Ornity. With little interest in maintaining the culture of Old Vacillia, the Ornits mashed all three concepts together, creating the god Zeal.   Only a few centuries old, the sloppily assembled Zeal gets little respect in or out of Ornity. Despite this, he serves an important role in the war, inspiring the people of Ornity to keep working to the best of their ability.

Old Vacillian Elements

Zeal is a poor approximation of every god from which he's adapted. The concepts that birthed him are incomplete or even contradictory, and he can feel this in a way.

Knotinagut

As Knotinagut celebrated the complexity of life, Zeal encourages mortals to be proud of themselves, and to be devout in taking care of their bodies. Recently this pride has been funneled into inspiring patriotism, and this in turn has been funneled into the war effort. Ornity uses Zeal's message to connect with commonfolk and convince them of their purpose: fight with Zeal, bring your best for Ornity, keep working no matter how bad things get.
